Danish directorNicolas Winding Refn got his big breakthrough with the movies Bronson, Drive and Only God Forgives. Since then he has been more into tv series with Too Old to Die Young being released on Amazon and his new Copenhagen Cowboy will be on Netflix later this year.
Mostly known for his movies that revolve around criminality his new series Copenhagen Cowboy will not be that much different. His latest release Too Old to Die Young came to Amazon in 2019 and is now taking his work to Netflix with Copenhagen Cowboy. If you look through the connections with what Winding Refn has directed before this might be a portrayal of the Danish criminal underworld. Something that might be far-fetched but also not such a crazy guess since most of his films and series are connected to violence and crime.
Copenhagen Cowboy will be premiering on Netflix during 2022.
