Paramount has announced a new "Star Trek" with the same cast of 2009 (Academy Award for Best Makeup). Directed by Matt Shakman. Josh Friedman and Cameron Squires will handle the script.
The theatrical release is scheduled for 2023.
This film will be the fourth reboot of the classic series that aired between 1966 and 1969. In addition, there are also the films "Into Darkness - Star Trek" (2013) and "Star Trek Beyond" (2016).
