The 2024 awards season progresses with the Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealing the winners for their Critics Choice Awards.

The nominations for the CCA were filled with new records, making way for some possible surprises as the winners were announced live on the evening of Sunday, January 14.
Comedian Chelsea Handler hosted the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards and included a whole host of star presenters including, John Krasinski, Oprah Winfrey Angela Bassett, Ke Huy Quan, Sandra Oh, Gael García Bernal, and Brendan Fraser.
Director James Mangold will present the Career Achievement Award to Hollywood icon Harrison Ford. Meanwhile, Margot Robbie will take the stage to present the #SeeHer Award to her Barbie co-star America Ferrera.

Greta Gerwig's ‘Barbie’ film was recognized with 18 nominations which set a new record for this awards show.
Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Yorgos Lanthimos ‘Poor Things’ followed closely with 13 nominations each. Martin Scorsese’s Killer of the Flower Moon secured third place with 12 nominations.
Warner Bros. received the most nominations for any movie studio this year with 25. With HBO/Max is the most-nominated network with 23.
In the TV sector, Apple TV’s The Morning Show leads the individual television nominations with 6. HBO’s Succession then comes in second place with 5.
Netflix’s Beef continued to win awards and take some wins in the limited series categories. Other fan-favorite shows managed to get a few nods at the CCA, like Marvel’s Loki, Netflix’s Peacock’s Poker Face, and The Fall of the House of Usher. And Prime Video’s Daisy Jones and the Six.
