Pennywise is back! HBO is producing a new series entitled Welcome to Derry to show the origins of the deadly clown.
The story will be set in the 60s, 30 years before the events of the young characters in Stephen King's book, and will talk about the story behind the monstrous creature, protagonist of so many adaptations: the first one in 1990 portrait by Tim Curry and the last one in 2017, played by Bill Skarsgård.
The project will be headed by Andy Muschietti, director of the last ones, and produced by his sister Barbara Muschietti.
HBO hasn't confirmed the release of the series yet but we are expecting an announcement very soon.
