The new ABC drama is about to hit the screens! “Queens” follows the story of the four members of an all-girl hip hop band called Nasty Bitches, who decide to walk the stage again now that they are in their 40s.
What is special about “Queens” is that the cast include real hip hop legends: Rapper Eve and pop icon Brandy Norwood were huge starts back in the 1990s, and here they play the roles of Brianna aka Professor Sex and Naomi aka Xplicit Lyrics – respectively. Alongside them, the four-members-band is completed by Naturi Naughton, who plays Jill (aka Da Thrill), and Nadine Velasquez as Valeria (aka Butter Pecan).
