Directed and interpreted by Valerie Lemercier, ‘Aline’ is a film inspired by the life of the worldwide famous star Céline Dion. After its debut, out of competition, at the Cannes Film Festival it will land on our screens in January 2022, distributed by Universal Pictures and Lucky Red.
The cast also includes Sylvain Marcel, Danielle Fichaud, Roc Lafortune, Antoine Vèzina, Pascale Desrochers and Jean-Noël Brouté. After having bewitched French audiences, the rest of the world is ready for its spell.
The film will tell the story of Aline, a girl born with the gift of an extraordinary voice. When the music producer Guy-Claude discovers her becomes extremely determined at reaching one goal: making her the greatest singer in the world. Supported by her family and guided by the experience and then the love of Guy-Claude, Aline is destined to live an extraordinary adventure.
