Apple TV+ has set a release date for the highly-anticipated thriller “Echo 3”. The director of the show is Academy Award-winner Mark Boal (“The Hurt Locker”, “Zero Dark Thirty”). The series is based on the Israeli television series “When Heroes Fly”, which in turn is inspired by a book by Amir Gutfreund.
"Echo 3" will tell the story of a young scientist that goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border amid a secret war. It is up to her brother, played by Luke Evans, and her husband, played by Michiel Huisman, to save her.
Filmed in Colombia with English and Spanish dialogue, “Echo 3” will make its global debut with the first three episodes on Wednesday, November 23, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through January 13, 2023.
