Bambi: The Reckoning

From the same director of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey and its sequel, a film that turns into horror, the most tear-jerking fairy tale ever told by Disney. Here is the first trailer for Bambi: The Reckoning

First they made us afraid of Banana Split, then of Winnie the Pooh. Now they also want to overturn the childhood imagination linked to one of the most heartbreaking stories ever told by Disney, that of the fawn Bambi and his mother.     In fact, a horror film with a rather eloquent title is about to make its debut on the big screen in the United States: Bambi: The Reckoning (or "the showdown"), which tells of a mother and son who, after being involved in an accident car, find themselves at the mercy of a killer deer: Bambi.

The film was produced by the same Umbrella Entertainment which, thanks to the expiry of the rights, made Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey which was a great success with the public and at the box office (so much so that it generated a sequel released last year February, with a second sequel in the works), and which we have told you about in the past.    Directing this Bambi: The Reckoning is the director of the two slasher films featuring Winnie the Bear, Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who is also working as a producer on a horror version of Peter Pan (Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare) and one of Pinocchio (Pinocchio : Unstrung), in what has already been defined as the Poohniverse.
