Every year before the Academy awards that celebrates the best movies, television, series, actors and other categories there is also the Razzie awards. These awards usually take place one day before the Oscars and are not as glamorous, these awards celebrate the worst movies, actors among other categories each year. This year Bruce Willis has set a new record.
During the Razzie awards each year statues for worst movie, actor, television series etc. are being awarded, an award nobody really wants. Bruce Willis, one of the most famous actors today and who has won 2 Emmy awards and has starred in movies such as Die Hard, Death Becomes her, Pulp Fiction, Armageddon just to name a few has set a new record. Eight Razzie-nominations for worst performance in eight different movies during one year (2021).
Although this is not unfamiliar for him being nominated both in 2019, 2020 and 2021 for both worst actor and worst supporting actor, this year The Razzie awards has created a special category just for him, a record he might not be too fond of.
The 42nd Golden Raspberry Awards (The Razzies) takes place 26th of March 2022 while The 94th Academy Awards takes place 27th of March 2022.
