IFC Films just released the first images of its new movie “Catch the Fair One”. The story revolves around the boxer Kaylee who embarks on a journey to find her missing sister after having seen a recent photo of her. The quest will lead Kaylee to unravel an intricate web of human trafficking. Will her efforts to save her sister help other girls as well?
The character of Kaylee will be played by Kali Reis, marking her acting debut. She is a professional boxer who is the first Native American fighter to ever win the International Boxing Association middleweight crown. For her role in “Catch the Fair One”, Reis was nominated for Best Female Lead in the 2022 Spirit Awards.
The movie was written and directed by Josef Kubota Wladyka (“Dirty Hands”) and it was produced by Darren Aronofsky.
“Catch the Fair One”will be released in select theatres and on demand on February 11.
