This week the unfortunate news that beloved actor Carl Weathers has passed away.
The actor best known for his portrayal of Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise died at the age of 76.
Weathers had also appeared in many other classics such as Predator, Happy Gilmore, and played Apollo Creed in the first 4 Rocky films.
He has also made impressive recent performances in the Disney+ show, The Mandalorian as Greef Karga.
According to his family, the actor passed away peacefully in his sleep. Who said the following:
'Carl was an exceptional human being who lived an extraordinary life. Through his contributions to film, television, the arts and sports, he has left an indelible mark and is recognized worldwide and across generations.
'He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, partner, and friend.'
His death has caused heartbreak throughout the world with family, friends and fans all mourning his passing away.
