The famous director is ready to return to theaters with his new movie “Oppenheimer”, based on the scientist who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb.
The movie will be adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer” by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.
Cillian Murphy, already in the cast to play J. Robert Oppenheimer, will be joined by Matt Damon and Robert Downey Jr., in his first collaboration with Nolan. The roles of the two actors are still unclear; also, it seems that the director is in contact with Emily Blunt to make her star in the role of Katherine, Oppenheimer's wife.
Nolan has never made a biographical drama before, but we are sure that the result will not disappoint us!
“Oppenheimer” is set to come to theaters in July, 2023.
