After Toby Maguire appearance in SpiderMan: No Way Home, Tom Hollands 3rd Spider-Man movie, fans have been hoping that Toby will fit on the suit one last time and come back for his 4th film. And that might just happen.
Thomas Haden Church known for playing Flint Marko/Sandman from Sam Raimis Spider-Man 3. Believes there is a serious chance that both Sam Raimi and Maguire will come back to make another Spiderman film set in his universe.
“I think Sam is gonna do another Spider-Man with Tobey [Maguire], and that's the one that ... They had an option for me to do Spiderman 4 when there was going to be a Spiderman 4. They had an option on me to come back. So if it happens, that would be fantastic. I'm getting a little old."
Toby Maguire is beloved by many from his Spider-Man films and were very excited to see him return in No Way Home and talks about SpiderMan 4 have happened in the past but there has been nothing concrete.
There was originally plans to make a Spider-Man 4 after Spiderman 3, but unfortunately the 3rd film did so bad that neither Maguire or Raimi wanted to do another one.
However ideas leaked that Mysterio would have been the main antagonist throughout the film.
After making Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Raimi admits that “anything could happen”. There has also been speculation around Maguire appearance in Secret Wars.
