Courteney Cox seems to be ready to relax after a few long months of shooting the sixth part of the iconic horror-movie “Scream”. It is slashing its way to the big screen after the big success of “Scream 2022” earlier this year. Nevertheless, filming in Canada continues without the actress.
Btw, Cox set a record - she became the first actress to star in six movies of one horror franchise in a row. This time she will be joined by an amazing cast, including Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Samara Weaving.
The bad news is that fans should not expect to see franchise favorite, Sidney Prescott. Neve Campbell has stated that she turned down reprising her role for the sixth movie as she felt the financial offer didn't reflect the value she brought to the franchise.
“Scream 6” will hit theaters on March 31, 2023.
