After finishing his work with the movie Crimes of the Future David Cronenberg is already working on his new movie. His next film will also be within the thriller/horror genre and will be called “The Shrouds” and is starring Vincent Cassel in the lead.
At the moment David Cronenberg is in Cannes promoting his new movie Crimes of the Future. That does not stop him from already starting to work on his new movie “The Shrouds”, a movie described as a thriller with flashes of horror and starring Vincent Cassel in the lead. As it seems now The Shrouds revolvs around the witty businessman Karsh that has just widowed. To mourn the griefing Karsh invents a device that can connect the living with the dead. Before this and Crimes of the Future Cronenberg’s last movie was in 2014 with “Maps to the Stars”.
Crimes of the Future premieres 25th of May and The Shrouds starts shooting during March 2023 as it seems right now.
