Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rob Morgan will take the roles of three scientists who are trying to warn Mrs. President of the United States (played by Maryl Streep), and alongside her all Americans, that a giant asteroid is coming towards Earth: its impact will have catastrophic consequences; something must be done immediately.
However, as we know, politicians – and everyone else, for what matters – are not very keen to listen to experts saying that a (climate) catastrophe is right around the corner.
The upcoming movie is written, directed, and produced by Adam McKay, and promises to be an analysis of how humans communicate in the Internet-era.
“Don't Look Up” will be out for streaming on Netflix, December 24, 2021.
