Another novel from beloved Italian artist Elena Ferrante is getting its screen adaption!
“The Lying Life of Adults” is about to be turned into 6 episodes as a Netflix Italian Original production: the new series is directed by Edoardo De Angelis (“Indivisible”) and will star Italian actress Valeria Golino as Vittoria, aunt of the young protagonist Giovanna, who will be played by a newcomer whose name is kept under the radar.
The story is set in 1990s Naples, and follows Giovanna in the transition from childhood to adolescence.
The Netflix series is still under production, so we will have to wait for a little longer to finally watch it!
