HBO has just announced the release date for the second season of its acclaimed drama series “Euphoria”.
The first season followed the story of teenage Rue (played by Zendaya) who meets peer Jules (Hunter Schafer) when she returns home from rehab. The two began a relationship, complicated by drug addiction and mental health struggles.
The topics explored quickly grew an important fan-base for the TV series; the plot of the new season remains under wraps.
“Euphoria” season 2 will debut Sunday, January 9, on HBO.
