🌟 Exciting news! Ryan Gosling is set to dazzle the #Oscars stage with a live performance of 'I'm Just Ken' from 'Barbie'! ✨

Amidst months of anticipation, it's now confirmed that Ryan Gosling will grace the Oscars stage with a live performance of "I'm Just Ken," the Academy Award-nominated song from the film "Barbie," during the 96th annual ceremony on March 10. This revelation comes from sources close to Variety, although the Academy has chosen not to comment on the matter.

Speculation has been rife about whether Gosling would agree to showcase his singing talent at the prestigious event ever since both he and the song received nominations in January. In an earlier interview with Variety in February, Gosling indicated his openness to the idea, stating that while the Academy hadn't officially approached him, he was willing to consider it, albeit acknowledging the potential risks involved.

Mark Ronson, one of the song's co-writers alongside Andrew Wyatt, expressed his fervent desire to see Gosling perform at the Oscars. When questioned about the possibility of substituting another singer if Gosling declined, Ronson firmly stated that the performance hinged entirely on Gosling's participation.

"I'm Just Ken" is competing against another "Barbie" track, "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish and Finneas, for the Best Original Song category. Although the latter secured the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media, the Oscars present another opportunity for recognition.
