During the fan event TUDUM, that was held last week, Gal Gadot talked about the upcoming action film “Red Notice 2”.
Already back in January 2022, the streaming platform, Netflix, announced that there would hopefully be a “Red Notice 2”. However, there was no news despite the scripts being in the making, since October 2022. Finally, Gal Gadot has made it clear that the script is done, and that the production team is talking about it, therefore, filming may start pretty soon.
When speaking about the script during the TUDUM event, Gal Gadot said: “We’re all talking about it. I don’t know if I can say anything! I already read the second script and it’s.... whoo! We’re all very excited about it!”.
Details of the cast and plot are yet unknown, however, we can be sure that “Red Notice 2” will bring back Gal Gadot to set, playing the character The Bishop. We can also be sure that the film will star Ryan Reynold (as Nolan Booth) as well as Dwayne Johnson (as John Hartley).
We can also hope for a back-to-back filming of “Red Notice 2” and “Red Notice 3”, as the producers, Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia, last year explained to Collider, that they wished for that to happen.
The first “Red Notice” was truly a hit for the streaming service, Netflix. When it premiered it swiftly became the most-watched movie on its release date. Thereby, it also quickly made its way onto the Top 10 Netflix titles in 94 countries. Hopefully the upcoming “Red Notice 2”, will be just as great of a hit, or even better.
