You heard it! The famous detective, brainchild of the genius Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, is getting another adaptation: to be exact TWO of them.
HBO has just announced the release of two series dedicated to the most beloved detective of all time. The details about the correlation between the two shows have not yet been released, but you will get a fully immersive experience into the 221B Baker Street world.
Guy Richie will be the executive producer, side by side with Lionel Wigram, with whom he created the first Sherlock Holmes in 2009, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Rumor has it that RDJ will also produce the shows, but there have not been confirmations about his presence in the cast.
For now, this is the little taste that the creators have let us enjoy, but we will stay tuned for other news about the project!
