However, the return of Sandler's fiery golfer, along with his entire crew, has now been confirmed. Tim Herlihy, the original co-writer of "Happy Gilmore," is set to pen "Happy Gilmore 2," with director Dennis Dugan serving as executive producer. Producers Jack Giarraputo and Robert Simonds from "Happy Gilmore" are also on board. Kyle Newacheck, director of "Murder Mystery," will team up with Sandler once again to direct the sequel.
