Right after ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Sex and the City’, several rumors revealed that ‘Six Feet Under’ may be the next HBO’s comeback. Apparently, the production company joined forces with Alan Ball (‘True Blood’) to develop a revival of the dramatic series focused on the Fishers, a dysfunctional family owner of a funeral parlor in Los Angeles.
This project would still be at its earliest stages but the screenplay should have been already approved. However, no representative from HBO nor Ball declared anything official about it yet, but apparently this initiative would also be involving the original series executive producers Bob Greenblat and David Janollari.
On the contrary, there is still no rumor about the hypothetical cast, no name has been made yet but it is quite obvious that the whole fandom of the original series would love to see the original cast involved in this revival.
