“Horror Noire” Anthology out to stream just in time for Halloween!

Shudder is continuing its exploration of the history and tropes of Black representation in the horror genre, already presented in the 2019 documentary “Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror”, directed by Xavier Burgin.

The new anthology will consist of six stories – titled “Daddy,” “Bride Before You,” “Brand of Evil,” “The Lake,” “Sundown” and “Fugue State” – put together in a movie-length format.

All the stories are written, directed, and starred by Black artists, and feature a combination of original and adapted material.

“Horror Noire” will premiere Thursday, October 28 on Shudder as well as via AMC+.
