Just four months after the verdict, the controversial defamation trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is being dramatized for the big screen.
The original film “Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial”, starring Mark Hapka and Megan Davis as Mr. Depp and Ms. Heard, is out now in Tubi. And we don’t want to use the word “parody”...
The movie was seriously fast-tracked, as the trial only ended less than four months ago. Depp ultimately came out on top, with the jury deciding Amber Heard had defamed the actor through unproven accusations of abuse. Heard was also awarded due to Depp’s former lawyer making his own accusations against the actress.
