The upcoming Hulu movie is set in a not-so-far-away future where humans are at war with AI androids that, for what we can see from the first images, are characterized by bright blue eyes. The story will follow Georgia (played by Chloë Grace Moretz) who is about to give birth to her and boyfriend's Sam (played by Algee Smith) first child, during their escape from the country to deliver the baby safely. But the couple will go through a treacherous journey of escape, given that they have to pass by “No Man’s Land” – a stronghold of the android uprising – before reaching safety.
The movie is directed by Mattson Tomlin, screenwriter of “The Batman”, and it also stars Raúl Castillo (“Atypical”) in the role of a character named Arthur.
“Mother/Android” will be released on Hulu December, 17.
