Harrison Ford is still going strong and will return to his role as Indy. This year he will turn 80 but that does not stop him from still appearing in movies, in this case Indiana Jones 5. The movie just finished shooting and will be released in 2023.
The first one, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark was released in 1981 before Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was released in 1984. In 1989 Indiana Jones and the last Crusade came and many thought that was the end for the franchise. Almost 20 years later in 2008 at 66 years of age, Ford returned to Indiana Jones for a fourth time when The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released to many's surprise, but the they kept on coming as Ford returned to his role as Indy for the fifth one in order. At this moment we do not know the plot but this will probably be Ford's last time reprising his role as Indiana Jones.
If everything goes according to plan, Indiana Jones 5 will premiere 30th of June 2023.
