It has now been announced by festival organizers that “Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny” will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18th. Cannes will also pay tribute to Harrison Ford for his long career.
Besides Indiana Jones, Harrison Ford has played some of the most legendary characters in film history such as Rick Deckard in Blade Runner (1982), Blade Runner 2049 (2017) and Han Solo in Star Wars IV, V and VI.
Directed by James Mangold, it will be the fifth and last film with Harrison Ford of the Indiana Jones installment. The production by Disney and Lucasfilm is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel with George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg as executive producers. The film will also star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas and Mads Mikkelsen.
It has also been confirmed Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon”, revolved around the murder of members of the oil-rich Osage tribe, based on David Grann’s book of the same name “Killer of the flower moon”, a production by Apple TV+ will premiere in Cannes, besides Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny.
