Inside Out 2 Trailer: Riley's New Emotions Revealed

Pixar is back with a bang, and the emotions are running wild in the upcoming Inside Out 2! Get ready for a whole new set of feels as Riley embarks on the tumultuous journey of puberty, accompanied by a squad of fresh and feisty emotions.

In the sequel's latest trailer, we're introduced to Anxiety, the new kid on the emotional block, brilliantly voiced by Maya Hawke. Joining Anxiety are Ayo Edebiri as Envy, Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui, and Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment. These characters promise to bring a whole new level of chaos and hilarity to the inside workings of Riley's mind.

The OG emotions – Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger – find themselves taking a backseat as the rebellious new emotions take over. Picture this: a hormonal whirlwind where Joy is struggling to maintain control, Anger is simmering, and Sadness, well, she might shed a tear or two.

But that's not all! Inside Out 2 introduces us to the fascinating concept of "sarchasm," a brain-bending phenomenon that translates every statement into over-it teen-speak. Get ready for some eye-rolls and witty comebacks as our emotions navigate the complexities of adolescence.

There's been a shakeup in the voice cast, too! Tony Hale steps in as Fear, Liza Lapira takes on the role of Disgust, and the rising stars Ayo Edebiri and Paul Walter Hauser join the ensemble, adding their unique flair to the animated masterpiece.

The trailer hints at a quest to regain control as Riley tries to navigate the world, including the challenges of hockey camp. The emotions are literally bottled up, and our heroes must embark on an adventure to restore order in Riley's brain. Envy, described as knowing exactly what she wants; Ennui, the master of eye-rolls and teenage apathy; and Embarrassment, a burly guy with a bright blush-pink complexion – these characters promise to bring a fresh and hilarious dynamic to the much-anticipated sequel.

Inside Out 2 is hitting the cinemas on June 14, promising laughter, adventure, and a rollercoaster of emotions that will leave you in stitches, it's going to be one emotional joyride you won't want to miss.
