During the CinemaCon, held in Las Vegas this week, the next installment of the franchise “Jurassic World” has been revealed.
The third chapter of Colin Trevorrow's creature will star original actors Laura Dern (as Dr. Ellie Sattler), Sam Neill (as Alan Grant), and Jeff Goldblum (as Ian Malcolm), alongside “Jurassic World” main stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The 'iconic trio' comeback will add a nostalgic veil to the upcoming movie: during the convention, a teaser has been shown where the original director Steven Spielberg makes a brief appearance dress-up in safari gear.
Not that Trevorrow's movies would need a helping-hand to be successful: the first two chapters, “Jurassic World” and “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, had cash at the box office 3M dollars globally. And the last chapter of the trilogy seems to be a guaranteed success.
Are you ready to see if humans would be safe in a world also populated by dinosaurs? “Jurassic World: Dominion” will be in theaters June 2022.
