After endless gossip and speculation, Lady Gaga officially confirmed her casting in “Joker 2”. She kept her “poker face” so long but finally posted a musical teaser on social media. The sequel is titled “Joker: Folie à Deux,”. We will see Joaquin Phoenix again in the main role that brought him an Oscar for best actor.
Fans immediately noticed that Gaga's silhouette has a heart shape on her face, which is Harley Quinn's signature makeup. It seems that comparisons with Margot Robbie, who has portrayed Quinn, are inevitable.
The new movie is set to be released on October 4, 2024. It will be a long wait, but it’s definitely worth it. According to the rumors and the teaser, it’s going to be a musical, set inside and outside of Arkham Asylum.
