It's been 29 years since the witches of "Hocus Pocus" first put a spell on all of us. The movie from 1993 became a Halloween classic. And now they are about to come back. The trailer for the long-awaited sequel has finally been unveiled.
This is the tale of the Sanderson sisters, Winifred, Mary and Sarah, a trio of witches who are unintentionally reawakened three centuries after their execution when a candle is lit by an "airhead virgin" on Halloween night.
Of course, the incredible trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will reprise their roles as the Sanderson Sisters in the sequel. Sam Richardson, Doug Jones, and Hannah Waddingham join the cast, along with Whitney Peak, Belissa Escobedo, and Lilia Buckingham.
It seems there won’t be any other options of how to spend this Halloween. “Hocus Pocus 2” is set to be released on Disney Plus on Sept. 30. But first don’t forget to watch the trailer.
