Veteran actor Mickey Rourke has officially exited the Celebrity Big Brother U.K. house after a series of incidents involving offensive and inappropriate language. Variety confirmed that Rourke agreed to leave the show following a conversation with producers, during which he was reprimanded for what was described as “unacceptable behavior” and “further use of inappropriate language.”

The tipping point reportedly stemmed from a disagreement between Rourke and fellow housemate Chris during a task, during which Rourke used language deemed “threatening and aggressive.” Earlier in the week, the Sin City star was warned by producers after making a homophobic comment about fellow contestant JoJo Siwa, saying, “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.” Siwa, who overheard the remark, called it out as homophobic, prompting further scrutiny. Rourke later attempted to downplay the incident in the confessional, stating, “I wasn’t taking it all so serious... if I did [cause harm], sorry.”

Following the incident, broadcaster ITV reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment within the show. A spokesperson stated that all participants undergo respect and inclusion training prior to entering the house and are continuously monitored to ensure compliance with behavioral standards. While Rourke’s time on the show was short-lived, his departure underscores the network’s zero-tolerance policy on inappropriate conduct.
