The highly anticipated eighth installment of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, is set to be released on May 23, 2025 by Paramount Pictures. Officially titled “Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning”, the movie is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who has captained the series since the 2015 installment “Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation”.
The movie was originally titled “Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two” but has since undergone a title change to reflect its stand-alone significance. Tom Cruise makes his return to the screen as Ethan Hunt, an Impossible Missions Force (IMF) agent. A star-studded ensemble, including Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, and Angela Bassett, stars alongside him in the film.
