Move over, Austin Butler! It's Jacob Elordi's turn to portray the King of Rock and Roll.

We barely had time to come to our senses after Baz Luhrmann's “Elvis”. And now it’s been announced that “The Euphoria” actor Jacob Elordi is set to star as Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola's upcoming movie “Priscilla”. “Mare of Eastown” actress, Cailee Spaeny will join him in the titular role.

The film is an adaptation of Priscilla Presley's memoir called “Elvis and Me”, according to Deadline and Variety. The memoir recounts the story of their love, revealing the details of their first meeting, their marriage, their affairs, their divorce, and the unbreakable bond that remained long after his tragic death. Published in 1985, the book became a “New York Times Bestseller” and an international sensation.

And now Sofia Coppola wrote and will direct the feature film. The shooting will start in Toronto this fall.
