Netflix has released the first look about its next big project: “Inventing Anna” is a miniseries written, directed and produced by the one and only Shonda Rhimes.
The drama follows the investigations of journalist Vivian (played by Anna Chlumsky) who is trying to uncover the truth about the famous Anna Delvey (played by Julia Garner), a (alleged) German heiress and Instagram influencer who turned out to be a con-master as well, stealing a lot of money from the NY social elite.
The new series is based on a true story, made famous by the viral New York magazine article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” written by Jessica Pressler. who will serve as a producer for the Netflix drama.
