As the premiere for the new Fast & Furious movie, Fast X, is getting closer, more information about the film is being spread. The movie is set to be released on May 19, 2023. It has also been confirmed that there will be a Fast & Furious 11, which will premiere in 2025.
Fast X will be the first of the two final movies of the Fast Saga. During the CinemaCon presentation, Universal offered a new look at the Fast X film. The new footage is spreading excitement amongst fans and shows that the Fast Saga intends to end the franchise with two mind-blowing movies.
New cast members to the already star-studded cast have been added such as Brie Larson, who will play a character called Tess, and Jason Momoa who will play the antagonist Dante Reyes. Footage of the new movie shows that there will be plenty of memorable action sequences. The movie even got an MPA rating promising ‘intense’ action scenes, which indicates that Fast X will bring the franchise’s signature style of action to the screen once again.
The plot will show Dom Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) and his team, protecting his family from the revenge-seeking Dante Reyes, who is the son of Fast Five’s Hernan Reyes. Dante’s urge to avenge his father’s death will contribute to numerous action scenes that will leave the audience stunned.
Despite some newcomers, we will see Dom’s old crew consisting of actors like Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Jason Statham and Sung Kang. With the cast and the promising action scenes, this movie will surely be remarkable to the Fast & Furious franchise.
