The Memeification of Nicholas Cage during these past couple of years has led him to be a part of Kristoffer Borglis upcoming comedy Dream Scenario.
Cages career has a variety of genres, leading him to become a subject of many internet memes over the years. These memes contains content from movies like The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and Vampire's Kiss. Something else Cage is famous for are his emotional outbursts of different characters such as Eddie from Deadfall and Castor/Sean from Face/Off. In the upcoming comedy, Cage is portraying an unkempt professor named Paul Matthews.
Following the recent premiere of Dream Scenario at the Toronto International Film Festival (via Deadline), Cage talked about a viral video compilation of his many character outbursts and how that drove him to be a part of this movie. In the movie, Cage is reportedly playing a man who achieves celebrity status after being recognized from others dreams. Cage as Professor Matthews in Dream Scenario will most likely be another attribut to the memeifcation, knowing how the internet is capable of turing almost everything and anything into a meme.
