The finale of “The Crown” will take the series from the ’90s to the early 2000s. The creators said that they experienced a very exhausting casting process for the roles of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Their decision was extremely surprising.
The unknown actress Meg Bellamy (a former head girl at St Crispin’s school in Wokingham) won her debut role after submitting self-taped auditions for a casting call issued on social media. Also the TV-debutants, Ed McVey and Rufus Kampa will join her in the series, both as Prince William.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the production of the new season is going to be paused.
