Due to the decline in television audiences, the 94th edition of the Oscar Awards ceremony (Los Angeles, 27th of March 2022) decided to eliminate the awarding of 8 categories from the live broadcast.
Among those, there is “Best Makeup and Hairstyle”, “Best Soundtrack” and “Best Editing”. These prizes will be awarded in a ceremony that will take place about an hour before the live TV broadcast.
