The film reunites McCarthy with director Ted Melfi and co-star Chris O’Dowd. This is a bittersweet tale of a couple working their way toward the other side of grief. While the plot of ”The Starling '' might have some comedy notes, the trailer, which was released by Netflix, makes sure to underline how the movie is actually a deep and personal story about moving on after tragedy struck.
The Starling was written by Matt Harris and will be released in theaters before hitting Netflix on Sept/Okt this year.
