The Oscar-nominations for this year's awards have now been official. The movies with the most nominations this year are: The Power of the dog with 12 nominations and Dune with 10 nominations.
In 1929 The Academy Awards officially started but it was not until 1939 The Academy Awards also changed its name to what we know it for today, The Oscars. There have been many nominations throughout the years but also many winners. This year's nominations (the 94th in order) have now been made official and the movies that have taken the lead in nominations are The Power of the Dog with 12 and Dune shortly after with 10 nominations.

The Academy Awards will take place March 27th 2022 at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
