Paramount has confirmed plans for Transformers 8 and 9

Paramount has confirmed that there are plans for Transformers 8 and 9 to be made after “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”.

Paramount originally launched the Transformers franchise in 2007, with director Michael Bay and star Shia LaBeouf. There were 5 movies made in the main series of the Transformers saga. After those films, Paramount made a reboot with Bumblebee back in 2018. Now it is followed by the “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”, which is set in 1994.

Transformers 8 and 9 will turn the “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” into a new trilogy for the franchise.

There are no released details about the film. It is not even known if Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback will return to star in the upcoming movies, nor if Steven Caple Jr. will direct the films. There is also no release date for Transformers 8 and 9.

It is likely that Transformers 8 will be called “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 2”, however, this is not confirmed. We can also expect the characters of the stars Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback to appear in this film as well.

Paramount will probably start off with Transformers 8 as soon as possible, however, it is unlikely that it will be released before 2025. Given this, Transformers 9 will likely not be released until 2027 or 2028.
