The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast for example have all been released as live-action movies and now it is time for Pinocchio to go the same way. This year Pinocchio will come to Disney+, a movie that will be directed by Robert Zemeckis and feature Tom Hanks as Geppetto.
Pinocchio is the tale of the sweet puppet maker Geppetto who so hardly wishes for a son of his own. One night the blue fairy comes by and turns Geppetto's wooden puppet Pinocchio into life. Jiminy Cricket is the conscience of Pinocchio who teaches Pinocchio good from bad. Together they have an incredible journey where loyalty, bravery and honesty are the groundstones Pinocchio has to learn in his quest to be a real boy.
Disney’s beloved stories have enchanted both children and adults, as the years have gone by some of them have turned into live-action movies, in September Pinocchio will get a live-action version as well.
This is the first released picture of the movie that will premiere in September on Disney+.
