Robert Eggers's “The Northman” release date!

The new movie by director Robert Eggers (“The Witcher”, “The Lighthouse”) is ready to hit the screens!

“The Northman” follows the story of Viking prince Amleth (played by Alexander Skarsgård) who goes on a mission to avenge the murder of his father (who will be played by Ethan Hawke).

Eggers co-wrote “The Northman” with Icelandic novelist and poet Sjón to make a movie as accurate as possible in its depiction of 10th century Iceland.

Alongside Skarsgård and Hawke, the cast includes Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Witch”), Willem Dafoe (“The Lighthouse”), and Nicole Kidman.

“The Northman” will premiere on April 22, 2022.
