As has already been assumed in reports from some other websites, including Collider, Reacher has been officially renewed for a fourth season on Amazon Prime Video, it was revealed that the third season is also on its way. The series, featuring Alan Ritchson in the lead role, will be back in 2025. Although the exact date remains uncertain, we can anticipate its return in less than 3 months!
The TV series, based on Lee Child's popular books, has been a massive success on Prime Video. The second season has already proven to be Amazon's biggest TV hit of 2023, so it comes as no surprise that an early renewal has been announced. The upcoming third season will surely build anticipation for what's to come.
In August, actor Alan Ritchson announced that the series was moving towards a more "traditional" approach. The next season will be based on Persuader, the seventh novel in Lee Child's collection, where Reacher disguises himself to save an informant from a menacing criminal with whom he has history.
Ritchson and Maria Sten will reprise their roles as Reacher and Neagley, respectively, in addition to a new cast lineup. Anthony Michael Hall joins as Zachary Beck, a corrupt businessman, while Sonya Cassidy portrays DEA Agent Susan Duffy. Brian Tee plays the villainous Quinn, with Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck, a college student whose attempted kidnapping triggers the season's events. Roberto Montesinos appears as DEA Agent Guillermo Villanueva, Daniel David Stewart as rookie Agent Steven Elliot, and Oliver Richters as Paulie, a towering figure even compared to Reacher.
