Snow White is back for the joy of everyone!

After years of happily working on a new film, Snow White is getting closer to her comeback on the silver screen. Disney revealed the initial trailer for Snow White at D23 on Friday, before its scheduled release on March 21, 2025.

Originally scheduled to premiere in March of this year, the film was delayed by Disney for a year due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Highlighting its extensive path to production, two years ago at D23, stars Rachel Zegler (Snow White) and the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot) unveiled the first footage from the movie.

Almost 90 years after the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, which became a key part of the Disney empire, various adaptations of the Brothers Grimm story have been brought to the screen. These include Lily Collins’ Mirror, Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart.

Disney has a number of live-action movies set to be released in the upcoming months. The first one is Mufasa: The Lion King, scheduled for Dec. 20. Disney has had success with its live-action remakes, with films like Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin grossing $1 billion before the pandemic. The latest one, The Little Mermaid, earned $569.6 million.
