Actor and director Andy Serkis is about to tell us the “untold story” of the French artist and entrepreneur who founded the wax museum that became a phenomenon around the world.
The story will begin in Paris at the Age of the Enlightenment, touching on the French Revolution and Tussaud's move to Britain. No information yet about the actress who will portray the legendary business lady. But the director has already managed to intrigue the audience. Serkis said: “This is no straight-up period drama, it is a hilariously crazy, no holds barred, anarchic, punk caper conjured from the curiously twisted mind of a fabulously post-truth executioner’s daughter!”
