Apple TV has just released the first official pictures and release date of ‘Suspicion’ , a new thriller series starring ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Kill Bill’ star Uma Thruman. The show is based on the acclaimed and award-winning Iranian series ‘False Flag’ and will be debuting on Apple’s streaming platform on the 4th of February 2022 with the first 2 episodes.
The story starts when the son of an important American businesswoman gets kidnapped in a New York hotel. The aggression, recorded by some cameras, becomes viral and at the top of the suspect’s list are 4 British citizens, apparently normal, who were at the hotel on the night of the aggression. However, while they desperately try to prove their innocence, they realize that someone is trying to frame them. Who’s hidden behind the whole tragedy?
Besides Mrs Thurman, the cast involves many other well-known stars like Elizabeth Henstridge (Agents of SHIELD), Noah Emmerich (The Americans), Georgina Campbell (Black Mirror) and Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory).
