George Miller (winner of an Academy Award for Happy Feet and best known for Mad Max, Witches of Eastwick, Babe, Happy Feet) has a knack for fantasy. Miller’s new Three Thousand Years of Longing officially premieres at the Cannes Film Festival. This movie is described as romantic fantasy combined with drama. Alithea Binnie (played by Tilda Swinton) is a scientist who during a trip to Istanbul discovers a genie (played by Idris Elba) that can make three wishes come true.
